Alec Ingold
Few professional athletes embody leadership, resilience, and service as authentically as Alec Ingold, whose journey from undrafted free agent to Pro Bowl fullback has been matched by an unwavering commitment to making a difference off the field. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Ingold was adopted into a supportive family that instilled the values of hard work, gratitude, and perseverance that continue to define his life and career.
After starring at the University of Wisconsin, Ingold signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and quickly established himself as one of the NFL’s most respected fullbacks. During his time with the Miami Dolphins, he earned Pro Bowl honors and served as a team captain while helping anchor one of the league’s most dynamic offenses. Known for his physical style of play and selfless leadership, Ingold has become one of the NFL’s premier examples of what it means to put team first.
Beyond his achievements on the field, Ingold’s greatest impact may be found in the community. A three-time Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee, the league’s most prestigious honor recognizing excellence both on and off the field, Ingold has dedicated himself to empowering young people and supporting children in the child welfare system.
In 2022, he founded the Ingold Family Foundation, an organization focused on providing underserved youth with opportunities to grow through education, mentorship, and life-skills development. Through the foundation, Ingold has launched financial literacy and leadership programs, hosted youth football camps and “Money Mini Camps,” and implemented curriculum based on his book The 7 Crucibles, designed to help young people overcome adversity and pursue their goals. His programs have reached thousands of students, including more than 17,000 student-athletes across Broward County Public Schools.
Ingold’s commitment to service is also reflected in his work with SOS Children’s Villages Florida and Children’s harbor, where he launched the “Gifts in Gold” campaign. Through this effort, Alec helped to fund a new playground for children in foster care, delivered “Kickstart Kits” including new sneakers, self-care items, while also providing school supplies, and ongoing mentorship.
