Scott Scherr
founded Ultimate Software in 1990 and has served as president and CEO since the company’s inception. Scott founded Ultimate Software with the goal of continuously innovating and striving for product excellence — the “ultimate software” for HR and payroll professionals — and he has continued to lead the organization with passion and dedication for more than 28 years.
Fostering a corporate culture based on honesty and respect has always been Scott’s #1 priority. He believes when an organization instills passion in its employees, when a workforce is connected to delivering the best products and services, that the results are happy, satisfied customers.
Before Ultimate Software, Scott held various positions at ADP, including vice president of operations, as well as operated Management Statistics, Inc.
